MISSION

TO HELP INDIVIDUALS
LEARN ABOUT, IDENTIFY, PREVENT,
AND DEFEND AGAINST

ACADEMIC ABUSE
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive hub for resources and information on academic abuse, alleviating the fragmented and obscured nature of current resources. These resources help individuals learn about, identify, prevent, and defend against academic abuse.

The platform also features an anonymous survey, relying on the honor system, to safely disclose and expose data on the types of academic abuse occurring and how institutions respond to these injustices.

Through easy-to-find resources and truthful reporting, we aim to drive meaningful academic reform and accountability.

VISION

TO RESTORE HIGHER EDUCATION
BACK TO A TRUE PATHWAY
FOR OPPORTUNITY
Solidarity, holding or hands of business people with diversity for group support or teamwo
Our vision is to transform higher education into a true pathway for opportunity. Studies show that academic institutions often fail to adequately address systemic abuse, where abusers are protected by institutional structures prioritizing reputation and funding over the safety and well-being of individuals (Klein, 2016; Smith & Wentz, 2017).

Through transparency, support, and accountability, we aim to restore education’s ideal of fostering human potential and creating a fair, inclusive future for all.

JOIN ME
With over two decades of experience in higher education across public, private, and elite universities, I have dedicated my career to addressing academic challenges and fostering equity. This platform was born out of my lived and observed experiences reporting academic abuse and the uphill battles that often accompany efforts to enact change within the system.

After 20 years of working to drive reform from within, I chose to take a different approach, committing to advocating for change from the outside. The challenges I’ve faced while pursuing this work have made it clear how isolating these experiences can be. If someone like me, a seasoned academic, feels this way, how many others share this struggle but remain unheard?

This question inspired the creation of this anonymous platform, designed to answer this question and provide resources for those navigating similar experiences. I bring my expertise as a director, consultant, and leader of academic initiatives to promote accountability, transparency, and equity in academia.
